We are very pleased to introduce Nolan Edward Walker. He was born December 1 at 10:57 pm. He weighed in at 6 lbs 12 0z and 20 inches long. A perfect little bundle. We are all home safe & sound, and considering the weather, we are all very happy about that.
Jenna and Brooklyn are very pleased with their new brother. He has been a sleepy little boy, but I am sure that once his appetite picks up in the next few days he will some more noise.
Here are some pictures to enjoy!

School and Halloween
Here is a picture from Jenna's first day of kindergarten. She has been in school for almost 3 months now. She is really enjoying and loves snack time ( obviously she takes after me). Brooklyn was very upset the first couple of weeks that we dropped Jenna off. However, Brooklyn has adjusted as well. She gives Jenna a big hug when we drop her off and a big hug when we pick her up. The sisterly love usually ends quickly after that and they resume to their fighting and arguing.
Enjoy the pictures!!
The girls love making and decorating suguar cookies. Here they are decorating some Halloween cookies. I am not sure what they enjoy more, the decorating or the eating.
The Princesses (Brooklyn referred to herself as Queen Brooklyn) are off for a round of Trick or Treating. The weather co-operated, which was nice. They made most of the crescent before calling it quits, however, it was enough to fill up their treat bags. They did enjoy handing out candy to the other Trick or Treaters that stopped by. They even still have some candy left!
We took in the Canadian Finals Rodeo a couple of weeks ago. Jenna and Brooklyn dressed in their cowgirl gear and really cheered on the cowboys. Brooklyn was so excited she kept asking to ride a horse. She didn't get her wish. She has ridden miniature horses before but not a horse. From where we were sitting the horses didn't look that big. However, I am sure her enthusiasm would have changed once she saw how big the horses really were.
Enjoy the pictures!!

August is a great month, first we celebrate my birthday (which is getting less fun to celebrate each year), and then Jenna's birthday. Jenna turned 5 this year. She had 3 celebrations - one at my Mom's when we went for a visit, one on her actual birthday, and a party day with her friends. To be honest, she was a bit confused as to why there were so many "birthdays". However, she did get a scooter, which she is very excited about. She has wanted one for some time. However, when Jenna takes her scooter out, Brooklyn insists on pulling her Dora suitcase with wheels. Most people we encounter on the paths find it rather humorous. I find it humorous until I am carrying Brooklyn and the suitcase home because she has tired herself out!
Here are some birthday celebration pictures and a few others - we like to have a picnic down by the river and the girls like the throw rocks into the water. We also went to Calgary one weekend and stayed at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. They have a great waterslide - for anyone going to Calgary, we highly recommend it. We have been there twice and had a great time both times. However, we don't find too many people hitting the waterslides at 8:00 am, so we usually have the whole pool to ourselves.

First half of summer
It is the beginning of August and summer is half over. We have had a trip to Fort Edmonton, a couple of camping trips, and a trip to the Capital Ex, among other small outings. It has been very busy. Here are some pictures. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Rodeo Days! Leduc had its annual rodeo again this year. Billy decked out the girls in cowgirl shirts, hats and boots.
We took the girls down to the fair to ride the rides, which was pretty entertaining. They don't like their rides too wild. Jenna rode a Caterpillar that went around on a track. She started off all smiles for about 3 seconds. The third time around the lady had to stop the ride because Jenna was in tears. Brooklyn won't even sit on the ride. They both stuck to the bouncy house instead.
Easter 2009
Here are some pictures from Easter. I know they are a little late. Don't ask me what I've been doing because I am not really sure.
We were in Calgary Easter weekend and took in a trip to the Zoo. The girls seemed to enjoy themselves and there were some animals out and about. I think the favorite exhibit was the Dinosaur park, which surprised me.
