We were glad that summer had arrived, but this heat is really taking a toll on all of us. The girls are so hot that neither one of them wants to go to bed, and I can't blame them! I sent Billy off to get fans for their rooms so hopefully that will help to cool them down a bit.


We took our holidays in June. We were in Calgary for 5 days and took advantage of Grandma Marsha's hospitality. We visited the Zoo, Bar U Ranch, Head Smashed-In Buffalo Jump, and Canada Olympic Park. It is amazing that I lived in Calgary for seven years and the only one of those places I visited was the zoo. We had a great time and Jenna always enjoys seeing Grandma and her cousins. We also stopped at the Torrington Gopher Museum on our way to Calgary. Although it was interesting, all the stuffed gophers did creep me out a bit.




Brooklyn is growing like a weed as well. She was 14 lbs 3 oz at her 4 month check-up. I think her teeth are starting to come in because she is drooling, chewing on her hands, and is a bit out of sorts - although, that could just be the heat.


Jenna is busy as ever, and always my helping hand. She loves to talk and comes out with the strangest things. She also loves stories and every once in awhile I catch her reading a story to Brooklyn.
