Happy Easter

This was the first year that Jenna decorated eggs. She did a great job with the eggs, but when I went downstairs to change the laundry, she had cracked them all open and was going to eat them! So a couple of days later we decorated a new batch of eggs. This time I was very specific that the eggs were for decoration and that we would leave them on the table until after the Easter Bunny came.

We went to Saskatchewan to visit with Grandma and Auntie Mandy but only stayed one night. Brooklyn has gotten very comfortable in her bed and did not sleep well in a new place so I was very tired the next day. Nonetheless, Jenna enjoyed her visit with Grandma and had tea parties, colored, painted, and of course ate treats!

On Easter Sunday Jenna was was very excited to find a bunch of eggs that the Easter Bunny had hid in the house and a basket each for Jenna and Brooklyn. However, she was more interested in the Playdoh and Paint with Water books that the Bunny had left than the chocolates.

April 1 - Brooklyn is One Month old!

Brooklyn is doing great and is 9 lbs 2 oz. She made a trip to Calgary and back to Saskatchewan. She was also happy to tag along with Jenna on her play dates or watch her at gymnastics. Her favorite thing is bath time, which Jenna really enjoyed when she was little as well. She also loves for someone to cuddle her and would sleep all day is someone held her - which was the exact opposite of Jenna, she was more likely to kick her legs and cry.
