Brooklyn is two weeks old today. I can't believe how fast these two weeks have gone. At this rate, I feel like I will be back to work all too soon.

Brooklyn still sleeps a lot but when she is awake she is getting to be much more alert. Any time Brooklyn cries, Jenna reminds me that "Brookryn hungry".

Jenna is staying busy and enjoying spring. She got some new rubber boots and has been out enjoying the "muddles". I bought her some bubbles and she spent the afternoon out on the deck blowing bubbles. She definitely has a lot of energy. I think the hardest part about this maternity leave will be keeping Jenna entertained.

Brooklyn Mary Rayne

We are so excited to announce the arrival of Brooklyn Mary Rayne! She arrived at 8:13 pm on March 1. She weighed in at 6 lbs 6 oz and was 19 inches long.

We are all home now and settling in. So far so good. Brooklyn is a good little sleeper, which is nice because her older sister Jenna is a very busy girl. It will definitely be a bit of a challenge learning how to manage to keep Jenna busy while still making sure Brooklyn is still taken care of.

Brooklyn had her first outing today. We decided to go to the mall for a couple of hours, just to get out to the house. And tonight was her first bath. It was the first time we really heard her cry. Once we got some clean jammies on her and got her all tucked in, she fell right to sleep.
